Social Studies....psshhh....THE ALAMO primary recource

Social Studies would fall under a.t.l. I learned alot this year about our state and our world. I learned alot in this class such as the battles of the texas revolution. i also learned how to use a five subjet notebook to take note in. This was a very interesting class. We wrote an Alamo primary recource and really explained how people suffered and tried to explain their own personal experience in our words. It was a good project b/c it taught me about the Alamo and how things happened and what the defenders went through. it was a scarry battle but Texas was strong and stayed tough.

P.E......ughhhh......-Running

P.e was fun but it was kind of tiring. This would fall under a.t.l.We did alot of excersises and running. I learned how to do my excersises correctly b/c sometimes I would do them wrong or I would "cheat" but now I can do them correctly= > Sometimes I would get reallyy tired from running and excersising but it all payed off b/c I stayed fit and healthy (at the time).

I think that everyone should be in P.E b/c it keeps you fit and healthy. Instead of sitting in class for about an hour in a half you should be doing something active so you dont gain weight. I learned how to run good. Now I can do it a little faster then before. Over all I really like P.E (good memories...)Running was a tough thing to do for me but first I learned how to move my legs IN a constant movement. Then, I learned to always use my toes to run b/c your heels will make you slow down .

Technology.....mhmmm....

This is a fun class were I learned a lot about computers in. I learned alot about how they work and how to use them propertly. Before I didnt know squat about computers but mow I know how to use them and I even got faster at typing!

Technology was fun although we had a lot of tests and homework it all payed off b/c now I know alot about using computers. Ms. Hinojosa ddid a good job although It could be a little wierd in class at times.....but it was funny. I'm going to miss this class....hhmmm...Hoprfully next year I will learn alot more next year about computers...

Readind......blah......

Reading a pretty good subject for me.This would be under ATL because i can describe it. I like to read and I like trying to solve story problems. Mr. Winchester did a good job in teaching me to write a good essay. That would have to be my strength. I have always loved to write stories that I come up with my own imagination.

Reading Is not a hard subject for me I never strugled with it. It always would come naturally=) I got commended in both my reading and writing TAKS and got a 4 on my essay! So that means that I understand the skills yhat Mr. Winchester had taught me.

Math........

This would fall under ATL because I can describe what I learned. I learned how to do decimals, fractions, percents, reciporicals, and many other skills. The skill i'm best at would have to be dividing fractions b/c Ms. Garza tayght us how to do that very well. I got 11% on the test when I tookit and ever since it always came very easy to me.

Although it took a while for me to learn that skill I still did pretty well on my TAKS test. I learned alot of other skills also but I am to lazy to put them. Math is just not my best subject but I still enjoy working and trying to figure iut hard problems!

Science-Disect Rat

In Science I learned a ton of new things I never new before. I disected a ugly rat, made soda , and learned a lot about our bodies and enviroments. I never was really interested in Science but this year has been very good and I grew to love science class.
When I first disected a rat I was a little grossed out...but after a while I learned about our body functions and how they work. I felt bad for the rat but I was able to really see and learn about the body because a rats body is very similar to the human body. That was a challenging experiment for me but I ended up learining alot from it and know what to expect when I get older.
